Construction

Cantiere del Pardo keeps the hull in the mold for 10 days while

assembling the steel structure, adjusting the keel and rudder, installing the engine, electricity, and

plumbing, mounting the interiors, and laminating the deck. This system eliminates any type

of subsequent torsion in the assembly.

The hull consists of 12 layers of unidirectional fabric with vinylester resin and isophthalic gel

coat. The iron structure consists of a central beam on which the mast, keel, and engine are mounted. With 5 transverse ribs, on which the bulkheads are mounted. A stainless steel reinforcement connects the standing rigging to this structure. The

deck is laminated to the hull with epoxy resin. All deck fittings

are bolted to stainless steel plates previously laminated on the deck.

This way, a solid, robust, and compact assembly is achieved, defining the

characteristics in navigation and the durability of this boat.
